This is about as geeky as it gets!

http://www.milkpaton.co.uk

Okay basically, give the above page a visit, and click the wee thing in the bottom right. Enter a name, then choose "Enable" or whatever it says.

Once you do this, you get to see everyone else who is viewing the site - by seeing where they have their mouse on screen!

Its easier to just try it, especially if a bunch of people are doing it at the same time.

I REALLY like this. I think on a bigger site - Im just testing it out now - this would really help visitors connect, give a sense of activity, and just make it seem alive.

Neat! Too bad you can't make it invisible, this would be useful for gathering site statistics (similar to what mouse heatmaps do).

Anyway, as a community tool, this is pretty cool

Stop spamming. How would you like it if I posted in your threads, saying "It burns when I pee" or something similar? This is not a thread to confess your faults or handicaps.

On an entirely unrelated note, I can't see this "wee thing".

Works fine here in Firefox 3.0.8. Doesn't work at all in IE.

I thought it was pretty cool! There was only one other person on at the same time as me, and his mouse seemed very interested in the girl on the left side of page, if you know what I mean...
