Hey all!!
Recently I stumbled upon Synfig, which is free 2D animation software. I downloaded it because it sounded promising. Unfortunately it is very unstable and crashes on Windows XP frequently. I found that out after I posted my other thread earlier this week. Luckily someone pointed me in the direction of Anime Studio Standard, a $50 USD application that allows you to animate using a bone-based animation system. I've spent almost the whole of this last week reading various reviews about it. It seems people either love it or hate it. People love how easy it is to animate in it; others say it takes a while to learn the ropes of the interface. Some people report that they've almost returned the program just because they couldn't figure out the interface! that was a Macintosh review though, so who knows?
I've also posted in the Anime Studio forums, and I'm really impressed with the folks over there. Quick replies, ready to help anybody out, even with the n00biest thing. ("How do I draw a circle?"

)
Anyway, I'm wondering if anybody has used Anime Studio Standard (not Pro, although any feedback on that will also be welcome)? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
