Whoever is the author of Conflicker C, gets my props. Granted, this could ruin many peoples computer's but the sheer genius to activate it on april fools day, hehe, I dont even know if I believe it. Although, I am going to disconnect from the internet tonight, and observe whatever horrors occur on April 2. I had the conflicker C / downUP virus awhile ago, so I hope I got rid of it.

Anyways, I've heard that it's just an "upgrade," so to speak from the other Conficker versions. I'm not sure you can "get" Confcker C alone. Can't hurt to be safe, though!
