I don't know if anyone else has checked this out yet. I was following the development since mid last year, and I got it on release day. Anyway, it's really very very good. It has one of the best combat systems I have played in an FPS. Somewhere between Condemned and Quake/Painkiller. Graphically very nice too, and lots of expandability - multiplayer and challenge rooms, bonuses, collectables, combos the whole shebang.

Anyway, since it was the debut title for Farm51, who are a new start up I thought I'd give it some representation here. Check it out, it's excellent blasting fun!!

Kinda reminds me of Wolfenstein, which is coming to consoles again soon!.

I loved the old XBox Wolfenstein, great storyline and co-op gameplay, but I digress. It does look good, but I'll probably leave it for now, until I get bored with BF:Heroes at least.

The only thing I like is the huge anachronism with the Zeppelins and the old aeroplanes. Besides that, it doesn't look that interesting.

From what I've heard, it's a shooter in horror/ww1 setting. More like Painkiller (some of the guys in farm51 worked in PCF - creators of PK)...

The setting and story aren't massively original, its the way the game actually plays that makes it fun. The Melee system is absolutely spot on, and therefore it forces you to get in close rather than sniping from afar. It's an interesting dynamic, and one which has you feeling more "hardcore" than in other shooters!

And disappeared in the 30's... Same for those planes, they are definitely from the first world war.

Edit: Ho wait! It IS about the first world war.
