Matt nailed it. I've pulled out my share of daggers, and Matt summed this up quite nicely. Drop her like a hot rock. Don't call her don't talk to her in any way and avoid her friends. Force yourself into new situations and meet new people. I mean it, force yourself. It is too easy to become a shut in, in these situations. Find a new hobby, go to group things, and above all else look forward and thank your lucky stars that she didn't pull this crap after 10 years of marriage and several kids.

You dodged a bullet. Be very, very grateful.
