I am considering XNA, however I was wondering if I could combine GDK.net and XNA and use some Dark Basic like programming to create a XBOX360 game

There isn't currently any support for concurrent development with DarkGDK.NET and XNA. I've not looked at the possibility of cross platform support for the XBox console, and DarkGDK.NET relies on the DarkGDK toolkit which runs on Native PC hardware only.
