I need to draw some simple blueprints for a subwoofer/speaker box. I have them on paper by hand and made a 3d model but would like to use something that can give me more accurate wireframe designs. Any suggestions? I have many of the MS studio/office products and I think I remember one did floorplans but not sure if it could do a more specific cad design or not. (im not on my windows machine right now to check)

Are you building a game model or do you want acoustic design software?
If you want to construct speakers, there is some CAD software to do that, without having to construct the boxes themselves. You can check the frequency response of the speakers, tune the bass reflex port and even determine the resonant frequency of the enclosure.
There are also some standard 2-way and 3-way crossover network designs readily available, but these days the full range drivers also give pretty good results at both ends of the spectrum, so you can do away with the crossover network part.

I don't recall where I had seen the software but if you Google for it there are quite a few out there.

You could always download a trial of Pro/ENGINEER.

Great program for modeling and laying out drawings.
