They have just released a teaser for call of duty 6: Modern Warfare 2

http://modernwarfare2.infinityward.com/

Doesn't give away too much, but it already sounds like this is gonna be a really good game Only bad side is it will make all our games look not as good

By the way, by Call of duty 6 I mean the the 6th Call of duty game, don't try and be technical about the name

I'm looking forward to this one a lot. I just finished COD:WAW yesterday and loved it. Most people just disregard WAW, but why? Yes, it wasn't as good as COD 4, but I think it's still better than most other FPS'.

If you want to actually get anything out of the trailer, I suggest watching these:

I stopped at COD2 because of the way the violence escalated.

Yes, I'm 18.

@Jeku:

WaW may be better than you're average FPS yes, but Treyarch didn't do a whole lot. Infinity Ward gave them their engine, their matchmaking system, and their experience system. Treyarch designed a few jungle levels and a few countrysides. Then they ruined multiplayer with massively overpowered tanks, and the return of Juggernaut and Martyrdom.

Just my opinion

These games are in development for years. I can tell that Treyarch added graphics upgrades to the engine since COD4. It's not as if Infinity Ward just gave them a fully ready engine. I have read that the Treyarch guys started this project well before COD4 was announced.

And this can be said for any dev that uses a 3rd party engine, which is just about everyone. It's hard to knock a dev for not spending 5 years on a new engine for every game.

Wow, I had *no* idea that the COD engine originally spawned from Quake. That is very cool. John Carmack is a genius.

This is the worst trailer in the history of mankind. They could have just released an audio file and I would have 'watched' it in Windows Media Player.

Did you watch the analysis? There's actually quite a lot in it, such as new Multiplayer perks etc.

Bendak: "and the return of Juggernaut"

Juggernaught is _very_ balanced. If you have stopping power on, they completely cancel each other out, only if you don't it is a problem, but so is stopping power if you don't have juggernaught on.

But we don't have to simulate the violence, just the fun.

Then what they should do is have a violence toggle. Myself, I prefer games with more realism, just as I appreciate realistic movies. To each his own

...And that's why the veterans hate videogames.

83% of women tested found Pus in Boots irresistable. (Based on a survey of 172 women.)

Wow that's pretty cool. Personally I did quite like CoD WaW, but I did play 4 for a bit on the PS3, and tbh it was pretty good, so I would be interested to see how this turns out.

Need to find the release date, *hopes it's been announced, have yet to google it *
