I got the dbp demo just for fun but when i try to register it says unable to get response from server(yes i'm connected to the internet ) and i can't compile if i don't do that.

I'm pretty certain that the whole point of the trial version is that it isn't registered.
But you should be able to compile though (not that I've ever used that trial); what exactly are you doing when it won't compile?

It says Register/activate 30 day trial.

and when i try and compile it has a message box and says

"Compile error"
"installation and Compiler versions are incompatible"

that is when i have not code whatsoever and just hit f5 i also tried with code it does the same.

yeah you have to activate trial to compile. but im not sure wat to do in ure case. Are you ure its not gettign blocked by vistas firewall

I have xp. and i'm using panda for my anti virus i don't think it's blocking it. ussually it pops up and says "Do You want to grant access?" or something like that.

I'll check though.

Got it. i don't know why but my computer can't connect to the itunes store and won't connect to tgc to register it. but they both work on my other computer. grrrr
