This is an idea I've had for a while and I decided to make it. The Zombie Survival Simulator. It's only been in dev for a few days but I would like your opions and crit. It has one review that just says it sucks, which isn't helpfull. Please check it out.

Before people start to flame:

I am a big fan of game maker and the stuff that can be done with it. It's an AWESOME dev tool.

But this forum is for TGC products. I got yelled at already for posting about my projects anywhere but in programming talk.

So people will most likely make you move this thread to a dark corner where nobody will see it. Sorry.

Otherwise, your game looks only okay. The graphics aren't that great, but I'd have to play to see, and I'm too busy to do that right now. Try taking more time on your sprites and general detail in your game world to attract more people.
But then again, I only judged from screenshots, so you could call my argument moot.

I really like GM, I used it for a while a couple years ago. I wasn't very good at it though.

Black Rebel Heart - I was rejected two or so years ago (from work in progress). So I know some will definitely not welcome him.

Although it doesn't actually state it anywhere, the WIP board is generally a DB/DBP-only board. Every once in a while someone will come in with a nice Realmcrafter or GM project, and we make it our goal to frighten him/her from ever returning to these forums. That last part is sarcasm, although it does hold true for certain individuals on that board...

Yes - you guys do have a subconscious bias against GM users.

Once the first build of my upcoming game releases I'll try and post it here for some crit.
I never knew geek culture would be allowed, but we'll see.

Lets talk about his game now, not this other petty stuff.

I have no problem with non-DB games getting posted in Geek Culture, it's seeing GameMaker/FPSC games in WIP which is annoying.

Why would there be issues with posting it here? Let's talk about the game, people

Most of the time when people post non-TGC product announcements, they have to be approved because they signed up the same day, so a great deal of those posts are never even seen.

We would always lock a post and even take action in that case - but this case is different, for one thing it's in geek culture, and for another Fuzz has been a member for some time.

Given the relevance of some GC topics we've had recently, well in locking this we'd just be cutting off our noses IMO.
