All your map objects are set up in group 1, so setting the first parameter to 1 should help speed things up a bit.

It's difficult to help without a little more information. You say the problem is it's sliding up the hills? Do you want it to stop if the hill is to steep?

It looks like you have a few texturing problems, and there are quite a few models that are floating in mid air. The houses look fine though.

I will explain in french because my English is very limited:

Ce n'est pas à cause de la dll sparky que ça lag, mais à cause du nombre de polygones(569400!). Même si 40 objets c'est peu, DBPro à du mal à en gérer un grand nombre avec beaucoup de polys.

- Pour diminuer le nb d'objets, utilise les limbs, affiche ceux que le perso voient et cache les autres avec la commande EXCLUDE LIMB(ex:une petite maison derriere une grande).

- Pour diminuer le nb de polys, tu peux utiliser la méthode décrite ici http://www.thegamecreators.com/data/newsletter/newsletter_issue_73.html ,sujet:How To Render Ten Thousand Trees. Elle ne s'applique pas qu'aux arbres, tu l'auras compris.

Il y a d'autres méthodes pour éviter les ralentissements, fouille le forum(afficher un objet en fonction de la distance, Level Of Detail, Culling, ...). Fabriquer un jeu ne consiste pas qu'à déposer des objets sur une carte, il y a toute une gestion/optimisation en arrière plan afin d'éviter les lags. Ceci s'applique à tous les logiciels de création de jeux.

Je n'ai pas l'impression que c'est du au nombre de polygones parceque quand je suis en l'air sa rame pas alors que quand j'ai une collision là sa ralenti !

- les LIMB ce sont des membres(sous objet) rattachés à la structure principale de l'objet comme par exemple une voiture et ses roues.(Manipulation des LIMB dans la section BASIC 3D de l'aide)

- pour enlever tout ce qu'il y a en dehors de l'écran, essaye avec OBJECT IN SCREEN et EXCLUDE OBJET. Fait des recherche sur le forum pour + de détail.

- pour les collisions, je ne sais pas trop, je ne maitrise pas sparky. Mais tu peux essayer de diviser ta map en secteur de collisions, puis chaque fois que le perso franchi un secteur, ne check que le groupe de collision qui correspond au secteur. Moins de collision à checker = moins de calcul pour sparky, donc moins de lag logiquement.
C'est juste une idée, je ne sais pas ce que ca donne en pratique.

Fouille le forum, il regorge d'astuce. J'utilise aussi un translateur, alors défois les traduction ne sont pas compréhensible, mais on s'en sort quand même!

qq défauts:
- tout tes objets comportent un sol, c'est inutile. "map1.x" est deja un sol apparemment, et un seul, c'est suffisant.
- j'ai mis les maisons dans un autre groupe de collision pour tester, et ca rame moins, donc je pense que l'idée que je t'ai suggéré n'est pas mauvaise.
- quand tu cré un objet, utilise des textures en ".dds"(convertit les) et convertit tes objets en ".dbo", ta map se chargera + rapidement.
- la ligne 'LOAD DLL "SC_Collision2.0.dll", 255' ne sert à rien si la dll est déja presente dans le dossier ...\Dark Basic Professional\Compiler\plugins-user
