Huh. Turns out there are some compatibility issues with my computer, but it's nothing huge. My motherboard driver disk wouldn't boot when I tried to install the chipset drivers, saying the operating system is incompatible with it, but it runs fine anyway (I've got an ASUS M3A78-EMH that I just got last year). Also, I am unable to enter Sleep or Hibernate mode for more than a few seconds before my computer turns back on again. Again, not a huge thing since 7 boots so quickly, but it would be nice to leave a few programs running now and then.

Perhaps it is your internet adapter thing waking it up? Check the power settings for that.

Also, maybe your mouse is on a slope and moving? Or if it has a cord and moving it? lol.

I tried running the virtual machine, but I didn't have enough to run it with 700mb of ram. I didn't have enough ram left. (Only 1gig to play with).

So I'm stuck on that I don't want to have to buy an upgraded OS when the trial expires on my main computer (unless I can downgrade again). If that is true, can I upgrade it too? I don't really feel like formatting things, though I am overdue to backup my stuff to my external xD
