'Lo guys, haven't been here in quite a while. I was recently remembering a game I used to play. Can't recall the name, but it was a paintball game of some sort, it was 2d from a top-down perspective. I believe you had a team that you managed, you could give them different markers, hire new teammates, etc, all pretty much your standard fantasy sports game. However where it stood out was the actual battle part, it was played in a kind of RTS style, where you could tell certain players where to go and where to shoot, although they would act on their own if you didn't do anything. The more I think about it, I think it was using an Action point system, where moving and shooting all took up a certain number of points, and upon running out the AI would get it's turn. Graphics were very simple, with pretty much just colored circles to represent the players. Super simple game, but really fun as I remember it.

I've searched all over but can't find it, anyone know what I'm talking about?

It sounded like X-Com until you got to the coloured circles part. Sorry I can't be more help.

Tis ok I shall continue my search, I'm beginning to think that it is no longer available anywhere, I certainly found it easily enough in the first place ><
