hello thier, every so often ill come across index of pages,

thier quite intresting, if youv ever seen one its weird!

Anyway i have a list of several indexs and am unsure of what to do with them. Am keeping a few since they contain Dls of full games lol (--is that legal?)

am just wondering if anyone has come across these, and why can you access them?

Well you're essentially reading through the folder of all the websites files. Having a look at one of my folders, it appears to be locked up (not sure whether that is by default or whether I did that), which is probably how some of the sites you suggested should have it.

Index view is an option provided by web servers, normally used to display the contents of a folder on a server without having to create an HTML page and code each item into it. It's not unusual at all to find these.

As for the DL's of full games, you're on you're own there.

Sega had one on their site before which let you download some music and older games, most people protect them and i'm sure sega definately would so i'm sure it was just a nice easter egg for the nosey people browsing the site.


I'll finish them whenever i can be bothered.
