Been a long time since my psp broke, but try this. Connect the psp to your computer with a compatable USB cable, see if you can find your umd drive inside the psp drive and copy the game over to the folder that stores the games.

You will need to get custom firmware and then mount the flash memory so it can be accessed from Windows Explorer. Once you've done this you can also get applications which will rip the data - but everything I've said voids the warranty so think about it before you do it.

1st: I already tried that and the drive structure does not exist

second: I have the psp 3000 and you can't run custom firmware.

PSP Phat all the way xD I imagine there will be custom firmware sometime, but it certainly is harder to mod than the first two.

This really sounds like you are trying to download game and put pirate copy into there. Unless you are Homebrewing which is fine on these forums.

@Water in fpsc - Explain why you want to do this, or we'll have to lock this thread. Thanks.

I'd think the only reasons you'd want to move your UMDs to your Memory Stick are so your battery lasts longer and there's no disc spinning round to cause damage if you drop it.

It's also quite a bit faster apparently.

To me the very idea of copying UMD discs to the memory stick sounds like its for piracy reasons. Just my humble opinion

I know many persons who are having PSP games they bought on Memory Stick just because they don't have to take all the UMDs with them and they load faster. Don't think only reason for this would be piracy...

Make games, not war.

It's not possible Jeku, so really this thread is kinda pointless, except for people talking smack about piracy .

I would just lock this, but I'll leave that upto you seeing as how your coffee mugs on the desk (so to speak).

Agreed with VanB and others. Actually, circumventing a PSP and "unlocking" it is illegal in many parts of the world, even for legal reasons. I can't see a reason to keep this unlocked if nothing more than to keep TGC out of hot water.
