Here's the portfolio website I've been developing for a little while now, tell me what you think!

Well, except for that site, none of the examples are online

The design for that site is excellent, but I'd say the coding needs some more work. (Such as pre-loading the link images, so that they don't seem to disappear when you mouse over them for the first time) and you should change the background colour to the average colour of the background image, so it isn't as much of a difference when it actually loads.

Oh yeah I forgot about pre-loading images. Also how long did it take for the background image to load? It loads instantly on my computer so I'm just curious.

EDIT: I added in the preloading images for the nav and a couple images on the other 2 pages.

I agree with Diggsey, really nice design, but execution could be better.

The background image took quite a while to load on the network at my college, and as Diggsey said the links disappeared on mouse-over while they loaded.

Hmm... I added in the preloading images, but maybe I should move just the preloading of the navigation images to the top? Would that change anything?

EDIT: Haha, I put an ad up on craigslist "Web Design only $100!" and like 3 hours later I got myself a job . I sure hope this doesn't end up consuming my whole summer break

Use some javascript to trip up e-mail harvesters a little. If I were you I would either use a form OR post your e-mail. I think e-mail is better IMO. It feels less gimmicky. If you do keep the form, I would also get rid of the "Website" "Questions/Concerns" box. It's not necessarily.

Either indent all you paragraphs, or do don't indent any.

You're right the website and questions/concerns box isn't needed I'll remove that.

Also the email already is posted in case they don't want to use the form.

The site has only been up for a day and I have 5 customers . Sooo much work.

EDIT: Here is the website for my first customer. I'm not done yet, just have the homepage done, but I thought I'd ask you guys what you think of it so far.

Also, I'm not sure on if it should be beat or beaten. I originally had beaten but I was told to change it because it was incorrect. If anyone knows for sure, could they please tell me?

And I took out the indents and the unnecessary box in the portfolio site.
