Hey,

I can't seem to remove the gadget completly off the screen, I have tried using the deletegadget command, but the gadget still appears on the screen.

I also tried cls and sync but neither of those update the screen.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks!

I can't see any way of a gadget remaining onscreen after you delete it unless maybe you changed the default auto-updating? I never have so I dont know if deleted gadgets still remain visible until you force a screen update.

The other, possibly more likely problem is the gadget handle is getting changed/zeroed maybe duplicating 2 gadgets with the same handle? They will open ok but when you come to delete them, one will remain.

Maybe post code snippet?

Thank you, although that did work, it did not work straight away, It took me several times to click the gadget before it was hidden using this code:

I dont know why this is, however using the deletegadget command removes the button instantly, a bug?

Looks like you can't delete a button with its own click event.
This code toggles each others button:

Just like Arnie, you can't self-terminate!
