Well not so much a bonanza as random stuff I haven't been able to upload.

The Download includes:

* Memblock Bitmap Functions - Some easy to use functions that make drawing to memblocks simpler.
* Waves - I was playing with matrices.
* Map Editor GUI - The begginings of a GUI, doesn't do much but maybe the code is of interest.
* Life - A revamp of my old cellular program. I've implemented memblocks to boost the speed.
* ASCII Chart - Simple program to view ascii codes. (hard-code the font)
* Entry Buffer Example: A simple program that demonstrates one way of using the keyboard buffer.
* Bullet Firing: guess!

Gotta love the waves

Cool, The ASCII Chart is especially useful to me.
Thanks.

The ASCII chart is useful isn't it.
If I ever make a DB editor I'd have a widget for ASCII codes.

How fast does "waves" run on your pc? It's only 25fps on mine.
I have no graphics card and 256mb RAM though!!!
I also have a 2.8Ghz processor, which is odd, to my knowledge that's not too shabby for an old PC and you'd think 256mb is kind of wasting it.

i have a FREAKIN AMAZINGLY AWESOME gaming computer though, check the specs:

Phenom II (2) quadcore processor - 3.2 Ghz (i can overclock it to 3.6 stable!)
Tb Hard Drive (1024 Gb and i will NEVER use 1/10 of that)
One of the FASTEST vid cards on the market
4 gb of RAM

not to brag or anything though, lol

@Smartguy
I don't think I could even FIT 4gb in mine.
Interesting how your processor is only .4ghz faster than mine, I am reluctant to buy more memory though because I have the old memory slots (DDR1) and it costs £40 for 1gb, whereas 1gb of newer memory (DDR2) costs £18 and it's faster! I only have two slots for memory .

@DD
Click on my computer and on the side panel there will be "system information" click it and the system window will pop up, that will tell you what is connected inside your pc.
You could even open the case, it probably needs a clean , ask your parents first though, I've blown up my computer before just by not fully pushing a memory card into its slot!

lol, and i have 2 2gb cards, im not sure if they're the new ones ur talking about but the have the little heat release slots cut into them and because of that they are like 3 times the size of normal memory cards

They might even be DDR3, but I haven't seen one of those and they are about £40/gb too. They should have a little label on them that says DDR, DDR2 or DDR3 and how much ram is on it.

Has anyone else tried my programs? There's a couple more than I listed; like a function that draws a regular polygon with any number of sides you like, a function that converts an integer into a colour of the rainbow. And even more but I can't remember the rest.
I'm especially interested to hear what you think of my memblock functions.

That'll be why you're only getting around 24fps, 1.4 is quite a slow processor. Interesting how my processor is twice as fast and you have twice the memory and our fps is almost exactly the same.
BTW you don't have 504MB ram; ram goes in binary numbers (1,2,4,8,16,32,etc...) so you probably have 512MB and something (probably windows) is using 8MB, which is quite low my xp uses 32MB
Are you running Win98 or something?

@Smartguy
Ah yeah I left the sync rate at 0 to see how fast it would run for people with better PC's than mine. Set it to 30 or 40 and it should look nice

@Comet
Thanks.

god I love having an awesome computer

and he may be right on the 504 mb thing, while I agree that he probably actually has 512mb for some reason windows seems to tell you that you have slightly less than you actually do, so wen I pull up properties on my computer it shows I have 3.25 gigs of RAM, when I actually have 4 gigs

idk why that happens but im just saying he may not be exactly wrong

Running XP SP 2....Dunno...8MB may be a bit too low for windows to be using it...

huh? So like I said he has 512mb not 504mb
You just said exactly what I said and somehow made it sound like you were arguing lol.

@DD
8mb is quite low unless you have some weird configuration like 576mb (512+64) and windows is taking an equally strange 72mb.
I don't know. I'm not going to worry about it lol.

thats a dangerous combination

if i recall correctly the entry buffer is basically a recording system for everything you type, in DBC its used as an easy way to record inputed text

so if you run

it will basically print whatever you type
