I can't figure it out! And let me tell you its bigging the crap out of me .

Its an old game, there are four castles and you have to defend and incoming meteor from hitting your castle with a shield. Each time the meteor hits a castle it takes a little bit of the wall away. It bounces of the shields and moves around the screen.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

A screenshot of what it looks like is attached.

Warlords for the Atari 2600? That's the version I've got anyway, on an Atari Anthology disc for PS2. Great multiplayer game, that.

I loved that game and played it all the time. There's one game that I've tried to remember for years and just can't get it. I'm not sure what system it's on either but I remember the intro distinctly.

It shows the outside of a big mansion where lightening is flashing on the screen every once in a while. Through the windows you can see the shadow of a man going from room to room. Every once in a while he shakes his fists in the air like he's upset about something... or just crazy.

I'm pretty sure it's a game where you explore the house (but it's all 2D) with a hand for a mouse pointer I think. I only remember for sure the menu to start the game (and that sequence that plays over and over again).

I don't think he's talking about 7th Guest because he said the house is all in 2D.

Yeah when you played it you started in the house and all you saw was a wall inside the house (in 2D that gave the illusion of 3D). When you moved your hand to the far right or left of the screen it would switch the view to the right or left wall. You could use your hand to click on things like cabinets or drawers to open them. It was an older game on one of the consoles. The only consoles I had when I was a kid that may be what the game was on were a Colecovision with an Atari adapter, an NES, and an SNES.
