I seen this on another post on DBC Forum but apparently the subject get derailed into multiple conversations.

SAY [string]
SAY TO SOUND [string],[int]
SAY TO FILE [string],string]
SPEECH EXIST(int)

How can I get these commands working. I get an error that says Speech Engine not found

Are you using a dll?

If so, can you please post the dll and the functions you use to call it so we can help you?

Thanks, TheComet

The secret commands fall into 3 categories: buggy, extremely buggy and jokes .
So it might not work at all, but keep trying you may find how to fix it.
I know there's a built-in synthesized voice for XP (for blind people), I don't know how you'd get at it but I'm assuming this is the fabled "speech engine". DBC was built for 98 so maybe it's in a different spot on XP.
