1) great game. I like it !

2) more enemy's, you really need way more enemy's I played like 4 maps en found only 3 of them.

3) more light. you game is to dark at some places you can't see a thing.

4) please add some better quality. (you can say it's you video card, but I have ATI readon HD 5670 GDDR5 1GB so it is not on my side )

don't ask untill tried everything

Dynamic lighting? Only good thing with dynamic lighting is that you can make a flickering light with it. If you mean dynamic shadows then that's a different story.

I mean the flickering light that's just cool in a horror styled scene. and dynamic shadow can also be added.

but the game play is cool

Quote: "and there is not much dynamic lighting."

Yeah... well, flickering lights are cool, but I don't think they would be that necessary, as static light looks helluva lot of cooler.

And I agree, before the makeover, this game didn't look too fancy, but I like how it looks right now, but I don't know much about anti aliasing anyway... Don't really know what kinda effect it gives.
Quote: "3) more light. you game is to dark at some places you can't see a thing."

I thought the game was rather light... maby that's just me, but I think it was... pretty light. But I always go over the top with my darkness, so that might be the problem :-P

The others I agree. Well, the count of enemies, maby not, but other than that. Couple of enemies here and tehre wouldn't have hurt, but putting too much enemies, would have ruined the feel to it.

Update:

I've been working on a system that changes your characters abilities and attributes. It's still a work in progress but its kind of a charge up/skill shift system that changes your character for a certain amount of time. I cant really explain what it is without spoiling the storyline, but for those who dont care about being spoiled, then click the code box below.

I'll try and get some screenshots when I've fully designed it.

You should Code Snippet that, so you don't spoil it for the other people reading.

@A dude, Help bugs!,

This project isnt dead. I'm still waiting on Hockeykid to send me the latest version of PB.. I cant work on the game without it!

Also, I've had like, some life changing stuff happen to me lately which has slowed down my working, one being a trip to Australia I'm still working on AP though, so dont worry if you dont hear from me for some durations!

EDIT: Oh, I'm also writing the storyline and script and will be doing so during the weekend.

@OutdoorGamer,

In what way?

@bman332211,

What version of PB are you using?

@Gorlocks suggestions,

Yeah, I've been a very busy bee with real life stuff lately but I've been working on it.

With the new update of FPSC and PB I should be able to improve the overall quality of the game. I've been writing the synposis of the storyline to try and give myself a target for when I'm able to start designing the levels for the full game.

If anyone has any ideas about a good storyline, then feel free to contact me on msn and chat with me. I'm looking for a good storyline but I dont want to make another 'F.E.A.R' or have one of the generic FPSC games where you just run around killing people.

Update:

I've got the main storyline Alpha Project sorted! All I need to do now is somehow find a way to stretch the whole game out to the levels in each chapter of the game. Once I have a plan for all the leveks, then I'll have a target to work towards. I dont want to just stride straight in and start designing stuff and then it doesnt make sense to the storyline.

On another note, Heretic Studios has a new look! Check it out over at http://heretic-studios.uk.to

Thanks, I appreciate that. It's fans like you that strive me to continue

@Gorlocks suggestions,
Thanks! The site tooks a good few hours to do. I felt that the old site wasnt as suitable to the style I'm aiming for.

If the demo scared you, then I'm doing a good job! That's my aim

Thanks man, I appreciate your kind words, especially coming from another BOTB developer! I wish I had your mapping skills. I'm sure with your design skills in mapping, Alpha Project would be 10 times more awesome! Haha
