I know this is old news, but WOW! If you've never heard of Sarcos, it's a company under contract from the US Army to develop a robotic environment suit for super soldiers. I know it may sound a little far fetched, but when you think about it, it's well within our technology. Read the article or search for Sarcos on YouTube.

WINNER list:
Latch, Lee Bamber, TDK, TheComet
Thanks for the help!

Oh the US and their super soldier fetish.
I'm sure they have better things to fund now, but I appear to be wrong.

I've seen the japanese have technology like that, but they use it for lifting heavy objects and help the (presumably rich) disabled. I saw a video on youtube long ago about that, I clearly remember it said "skynet" on the backside of that...thing, and I lol'd.

I'm not entirely sure how increased physical strength would really be that useful for an in-combat soldier, unless it somehow helps him aim or run.

Someday this might become like Mjolinir armor on Halo.

Why remake a famous game when you could create your own?

If you guys haven't seen the new F35 helmets, take a look. Looks positively futuristic.

Those things looks positively freaky, and don't even appear to have much functionality on the currently used JHMCS in the F18's.

If it means you can lift an extra ton, that's an extra ton of armor you can wear.

The average amount of gear (including weapon system, ammo, armor, etc.) we carry (dismounted) often closes on 100 lbs or more. That really tends to wear you down after awhile. There have been numerous attempts to lighten equipment, and even bring back the pack mule (in the form of a small vehicle (unmanned)).

I personally think they should just take some HEV suits from Black Mesa.
