In DB Classic when you press F1 on a command it connects me to the Web Help Menu. I would like to connect to web pages in my program. It's an art gallery, and I would like to be able to click on a picture, and then connect to the artist's web page. I'm sure that if F1 works then there must be something in DB that can do it.

Thanks!

Pincho.

The help system isn't a online one. those are html files that are installed with dbc. but to answer you question, no there is no web browser in the db IDE.

Although i do remember one coming out that someone made and it had a web browser in it. idk where it is now though.

That's normal for a DirectX program. Try using Set Display Mode on return and redrawing everything.

[Edit] Just thought - you could also try turning 3D off just before calling the browser...

a Cls should fix it. there is also a command to check if it's messed up:

Screen Invalid()

just telling you.
