Well it seems that Xbox owners aren't going to be the only ones to have access to Natal. Here's the link,
http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/59550

For those of you who are lazy here's a quote from the article,
Quote: "Gates told CNET that the camera is not meant for only games, "but for media consumption as a whole, and even if they connect it up to Windows PCs for interacting in terms of meetings, and collaboration, and communication."

"Both the Xbox guys and the Windows guys latched onto that and now even since they latched onto it the idea of how it can be used in the office is getting much more concrete, and is pretty exciting," he said. "

Sounds pretty cool right? Personally I think this is much better suited to a console, but I can still imagine the possibilities of using this for, say, Photoshop or other imaging software. This might also make 3D modeling easier! Imagine it scanning the human body and allowing you to customize it Sim's style!

Actually it could scan anything in an enlarge it, and allow you to edit it. Of course this is all theoretical and would require the proper software.

Still I can dream can't I?

This is a little old news, but I didn't see a thread on the first page!

Also for anyone who's interested, I've started a blog mainly to do with writing. I thrive on feedback, both positive and constructive so please feel free to comment. Check it out here, http://idealwxrks.blogspot.com/

Just to clarify, that the scanning in stuff to the computer as 3D models, was my dreaming (wishing) and they haven't mentioned it.

But I'm sure it's feasible, sort of...
