Have you guys tried it out?

I'm using it, and I'm in love with it! It's a great compliment to those of you guys who use pay as you go phones, since sms and checking voicemail can be done online if you're at a computer instead of on the phone, which is a lot cheaper.

It's got a bunch of other features too, check it out at http://voice.google.com.

It looks interesting, however it's currently invite only

I got an invite and it turns out it's only available in the US. Go figure

US Only, bugger, but still it's a cool feature, it's something I could do with.

yea I got it and its nifty. I'm thinking of adding it to my list of family numbers so I can call it for free. Even though they had a number close to where I live surprisingly.

It is definitely a neat idea.

I love it. It's going to be nice because my new apartment give us a local phone line, but no long distance. Voice is going to be great to make long distance calls
And you can make your voice number forward certain groups of contacts to different phones depending on the day/time. So like, if you want fellow employees to call you only during hours, you can have it go to the voice mail automatically after hours. Stuff like that. It's neato.
