Is there any way to make a 2D target that breaks from shots from a spaceship? *Cough Space Invaders Cough*

You could paste a black explosion over the base, and then check if that part of the screen is black to pass a bullet through it.

Here's a bit of code I did a short while back and the media I made for it, apart from some of the sound effects.
Not got any collision code or anything and was for a scroller but your welcome to play around with it.
Yeah, I think pincho means a mask around the sprite you want to hit and destroy. Black being the part you can shoot through, if it hits another colour it connects.
