I wanted to attach the media as a zip file but do not know how to do that. Is that possible? I have a program that has 2.55 MB of media. Any suggestions?

Save you media and everything into a single folder then right click on the folder you put it in. Highlight send to and clicked zip or compressed file

I think he means reading .zip files in DBC. For that, no there is not, but you could convert your files to a different format.

What format is your media in?

I have code I want to post on the forum. The code needs the media in order to work. I have all the media in a zip file and want to attach it as I post the code. When I attempt to use the browse/attach I am only able to load one piece of media each browse. I would like to load all the media in one zip file and attach it. Is that possible?
<edit>
I think I figured it out. I'll try it on another post.

I am attempting to use the 'File Uploader applet'. The Apollo File Upload came up and I used the drag and drop method to load the zip folder with the media. What do I do now?

@ Brazos

Please, don't do it that way. Follow these steps:

1) Make a new folder on the desktop
2) Copy all files you want to upload to the forum into that folder
3) Close the folder.
4) Right click on the folder, select one of the following:

-Add to archive...
-Send to/zipped compressed folder

5) Select the desired compression format if asked (zip)
6) Go to the forum make a post, and click "browse" After the attachment box.
7) Double click the zip file you created
8) Post Message

You can also use something like Mediafire.

I followed your list. When I got to the click browse a window opens with my computer files. Idouble clicked the zip file I created. Then the zip file opened with a list of all the media files. I can still only choose one file at a time. Am I doing something wrong?

You probably just clicked on the folder... Try clicking the zip file you created once, and then click "open" on the window that browses for the files to select that file. When you click on the zip, does the file really have a ".zip" behind it?

Also give winrar a go, instead of compressing the files to a zip, you compress it to a rar. There are various other formats, if you are using LINUX, try jar, war, tar, tar.gz, 7z, ar, tar.izma, or cbz.

Also note when clicking "post message" that it will take a while to upload the file before the page refreshes again. Make sure at the bottom left of you firefox browser it says "sending request" or "waiting for ...". If it says "Done" or "stopped" after clicking post, and your post isn't there, something is wrong.

Quote: "Then the zip file opened with a list of all the media files"

then its not a zip file, zip files are encoded, no individual files exist in them, only a bunch of data that is dechiphered into files upon extraction

*just a theory, but its one that makes sense*

I may do some research on it

edit:

I was close, a zip is a bunch of files compressed and combined into one file
