Eve of Shadows is back in production, after months on hold the game is being developed again.

Credits
Jake Robson (Me) - Level Design, Custom Models
Shaun Read - Level Design/Ideas
Lewis - Really great voice acting.

The Story

Hetherfield Research and Mining Inc, the current workplace of
Ethan Brown, an ex-American living in Russia. Even on the first day he knew things weren't right, some people went down into the lower mining floors, never to come back, fresh workers came every week, and all the managers would say is that they were working on a project below, he knew this was not the case. Day 41, his close friend Tony Steiner disappeared when working down in the lower levels. Ethan finally thinks things have went too far, and decides to investigate....

As he progresses further into the maze of tunnels and access hallways, Ethan is exposed to an unknown substance. After a very short period the effects of this exposure kick in, and Ethan soon realises that his mind is slipping into what appears to be a 'dream state' in which he must explore an abandoned and eerie complex, but this dream starts to appear more real as he finds himself in his worst nightmare.

Can Ethan discover the source of these premonitions, and find out the location of his friend.

I love Taylor Swift. If I love you as much as I love Taylor, then you're one in a billion, very very special.

Heh no problem, i think that the screens don't give the level enough justice, we have had some great voice acting and some fresh new ideas, and if all goes well you can expect a demo level out in the next few days.

Good work!

The screenshots look very good to me, but some kind of bare yet concerning the lights. Maybe dare to add a "touch" of different colours to some lights (although their main colour is yet white/grey), that might make a difference... just a suggestion

Keep it up

Just a question.. did you play FEAR? Several of the screenshots remind me of certain scenes from this game. (Which indicates, btw., that the game looks good )

lol, the original F.E.A.R. is awesome. Too bad I got the PS3 port that has awful graphics (you could probably make it in FPSC, with a few shaders).

Anyways, I always try to figure out how people get shadows for fences in FPSC. Do you use an overlay?

Looking Good Mate. But lower the opacity of the hud, to blend better with the scene, and It will be awesome .

I have to admit, the shadows look really cool, great lighting. However, I'd change the floor in that last screen, it's too grungy IMO. Also, graffiti seems unlikely in a mine setting, bit it still looks good, can't wait to see more...

If I was ever given the opportunity to remove all the bad from the world, I wouldn't, because for there to be heroism, compassion and all that is good, there must also be all that is bad.

Its getting better and better. Though as for the last screenie.
Maybe add some more crates/boxes. Some more detail to fill the hallway a bit up.

Other than that looking extremely nice.

Hey Jake this looks great, I definitely like the darkness.
My question is though, will there only be one level, because you can't make many levels if it's just taking place in a mine.
But it looks fantastic. Excellent work.
