Hey there!

I'm planning to buy the ATI HD4890 today or tomorrow, but when looking at the specs it tells me that it has two different ports for video-out (one HDMI and one DVI, I think...). Having a dual-screen system, will it be possible to hook up both of my monitors to this card?

I do have a HDMI to VGA plug, using it now on my 8800GT.

Thanks!

Jeff

Yes, but I think it might be better to get a VGA to DVI converter since DVI is better than VGA? I'm not sure what the actual signal conversions are like, so it might not even matter.

Thank you, Sid.
I actually think I have DVI, since I have a 1920*1080 Flatscreen hooked up to my pc, and it works fine and fast.

Allright, will order it asap. Thanks

If both monitors have a DVI input, it would be better to use the DVI port for one monitor and an HDMI to DVI adaptor for the other, since HDMI and DVI are both digital while VGA isn't. That card has a VGA output, too, so if one monitor only has a VGA input, just use that.
