Hi !

Since the game has been in development more then a year ago, i made the occasional post in the WIP forum to show my game and playable demos.

Unfortunately, i only had a video to show last time since the game was converted to run on xbox 360.

Not anymore !

The game is now released as a free pc game !

you can download it on the official website, where you can also find reviews and videos of the game !

Official Website

I hope you enjoy the game, and if you do, please spread the word !

Congrats on this How did you find the process of recompiling the game for PC? Was it fairly straightforward and as easy as it is advertised?

It was fairly easy, but there was still a few things to take into consideration.

The biggest part of the work was putting back the mouse code and making sure the controls would work well using mouse/keyboard.

Another consideration was removing the code that interacts with the xbox guide, because this code will crash on users who have xna runtimes installed, but not xna development files.

Third was changing file management, so that it would no longer use a storage device, but use path relative to the game file instead.

Last was making my texture sizes that are power of 2, because on xbox it does not matter, but some video cards don't like it when textures are not power of 2.

Now that i know of all those little issues, i have both the pc and xbox version in the same code, with just a bit of conditional compiling.

There was nothing too hard in converting my code to make it cross platform, and now that my code is set, it really only is a matter of 'right click, copy as xbox 360 project, compile' to take the pc code and compile it for xbox.
