Well said Seppuku Arts (i though Seppuku was ritual suicide ).

OpenXDK is a homebrew kit for developing XBOX applications, but it requires a modded XBOX and is much harder then XNA.

Gotcha priase and approval lol

Well yes when somebody moans compalins and trys to have a go at me i laugh at them, give te a stupid funny remark about thier intelligence and walk away laughing, that really [no] them off. If they try anything i dislocate thier shoulder ^^

Uncle taught me a few tricks phycologly was the best one, fear tactics was the focus,
Never screw with the person who laughs at you while being punched, my god, never...

Other than being [no] scary, i walked away wit a bruise he went on a gerny to a ambulance.

Good times...

No i am very normal, just got a twisted sense of humour, and view of life. ^^

Oh, and if you want to macho up, do pushups/situps in between live matchs, Search @ destroy is a good one for it, Built my stammina up very quickly then got better at the game so had to change it to sets of 10 for every death. ^^ lol

One last thing, who gives aa flying [no] about what the future hobo of tommorow thinks. Self confidence is everything.

Belive not in me that belives in you,
Belive in yourself that belives in me.

Belive in yourself in some many words ^^

I really meant for my last post to communicate that first sentence, but I got stuck on a tangent.

Do not judge your self-worth on the opinions of TEENAGERS.

This does not mean you are better than everyone else, just that you can generally ignore negative comments coming from someone who has no respect for others and as such deserves none from others. When you get into the real world or even college, you will meet people with similar interests as yourself and possibly similar experiences. These are the people you call friends. Their opinions matter because you respect them. I'm not saying this as justification to be arrogant now, just to stop and consider someone else's reasons for being disrespectful before you act in kind.

I have never let my schooling interfere with my education.

I felt the same for 3 years, untill I found out that my classmate was interested in stuff like this, and it was even more suprising that his "dad" (I dont know what its called in english, but when someone is not your real dad but takes the dad role) actually is Head 3D artist (the boss of all other 3D artists) for Avalanche Studios.

So Jenkins, what do you think about Glocks? They're a personal favorite, because I've never had them jam up on me. I do think they're a pain in the neck the first time you load the magazine with bullets- new springs are hard to press down all the way...

I 100% agree. I've always been a Glock fan. People always try and say "Oh the Sig 226 is sooo much better your an idiot if you use Glocks." I honestly don't care what they say. I've never had a Glock jam on me once. GLOCKS FTW!!

Funny, you hate them for swearing/being rude/bullying, but then you're arrogant? Sounds quite hypocritical.

Quote: "I am still being bullied everyday, people at school are full of sh*t, they don't realize who I am."

Learn to stand up for yourself.

Quote: "This kid did actually say he was going to become a game designer and then he says "You are a [censored][censored][censored][censored]" What a jerk. Then recently he told these two kids to f off. He said this:

"I'm popular, f off [name1], f off [name2]. You're all gay""

Plenty of people at a teenage age will have dream jobs. For all you know, that kid could be a home programmer as well. And as for the swearing - get used to it. People swear/are rude all the time in the real world. I swear all the time in real life, but it hasn't had a real impact on the sort of career choices/career that I have.

And input on the above ^^ - Glocks are great generally, but the Glock 19 which I use is just a crappy compressed version of the Glock 17. Never understood why they created a whole new Glock just for a few cm difference in size.

I've seen that before lazerus, and it looks like it'd be great for people in the defence sector who need to carry a decent weapon, but operate/store it in confined spaces.

Quote: "People always try and say "Oh the Sig 226 is sooo much better your an idiot if you use Glocks."

People who say that probably assume that they're more reliable because lots of spec ops teams use the P226 as the standard issue sidearm, rather than from their own personal experiences.

We all understand that you're frustrated by the way your life is right now but this is just school. Yes, there are always going to be jerks in school and yes, it's going to be stressful. But it's just a small amount of time compared to the rest of your life.

Don't let them get to you, stay focused on the classes, and when you get hired by a game company to program for them... you make sure to send a job application to that aspiring game designer... doing what he does best as a play tester for your next big game.

Yeah most likely. The police officers around here are issued the P226 as well. But every officer I personally know just says that they take their own Glock with them instead. I don't dislike Sigs, but they just aren't Glocks to me.

And in the end, Glocks are just as good as P226s... Arguring whether a P226 is better than a Glock is the same as fanboys arguing which console is best.

Soh cah toa. I just always thought of Squidward in an episode of Spongebob where he was 'volcano man' or something like that (not quite the same, but it sounds similar to 'Krakatoa'). Though I can remember what they all meant, S is obviously sin, C is cos and A is angle, but I can't remember T and A.

But it can be handy in programming, or at least I've used 'cos' and 'sin' when following an XNA tutorial and have seen it some people's example code. It's good for using vectors and calculating angles.

Wait untill you hit AS/A level trigomtery

They give you a single data, then you need to sue 3-5 different equations to get another, then repeat and rinse.

Learn satire my friend, everyone hated me at at school, I was the "weird, spotty, scottish nerd" up until I started to think up some pretty good comebacks, and burn alot of people you know everyone hates, it goes down a storm, and although I wouldn't say I'm the most popular, but I get along quite well now, no-one tries to slag me off, I've got a good group of mates, and everyone refers to me as the "younger Frankie Boyle..."

If I was ever given the opportunity to remove all the bad from the world, I wouldn't, because for there to be heroism, compassion and all that is good, there must also be all that is bad.

Don't Let those nay sayers get to you! I use my time learning programing over the years spending long hours inside growing strong from the nurturing glow of my monitor, and look at me now! Like many other users here, I too have my own fake company, Experience in a completely procedural programming language(OOP is for lamerz!) and about 5 unfinished games.

Seriously though, I remember when I had your attitude, I thought I was a cut above everyone else in my class because I knew Dark Basic and all they did was spend hours on runescape. I guess programmers tend to have that kind of mindset. But believe me, as you grow up, you realize people are not smarter just because they can type out lines of code in a language which does all the grunt work for you anyway.

I think the only people that are more arrogant programmers are IT professionals, I should know I worked for one, I was one, and Im going into school to be one. Not to say Its bad to be this way, you almost have to in order to get anywhere, but try not to think to lightly of anyone.

BF2 can be rape, which why I'm glad that they released BF1942 for XBL, It's just a lot more fun to play online than other games - just hope they introduce some more maps soon.

I used to go as a medic all the time of BF2, at least then you can hoover some healing points if you end up in a lopsided team.

That's the way it was at my school too. I can hear the principal now... hey lets make the science teacher the computer teacher... he's smart. It's that same thought process that caused many a PE teacher to become the sex-ed teacher... hey, he's a jock... he knows about girls.
