Hi! Since my brother is going to college the xbox 360 that we shared officially be mine so I want to move it up to my computer monitor (since the TV I use now is an old tube tv and my monitor is hd). Now I don't have a stereo or anything that uses the RCA cables just a normal computer stereo. What I want to do is connect my xbox 360 to the monitor using the Xbox 360 VGA cable, then connect the 2 RCA cables to this:

Then connect that single cable to this:

Then connect my headphones to that stereo coupler. So my question is will this work and if it won't how can I make my xbox 360 play sound through a pair of standard ipod earbuds and play video through my computer monitor. My computer monitor supports DVI-D and VGA.
Games are like life, they should never stand still.
