Hey, I know somebody here will know this. Preferably in the next half hour (I need to go somewhere).

Where do I put .sys files? I'm trying to install an action replay, and the codejunkies website is completely devoid of information. Google is also baring little to no results.

I remember having to put this .sys file somewhere in the windows directory or something last time I set this up...

Thanks if you can help.

I would assume either in the same directory as the application/.exe that wishes to use it, or in Windows/system32 (which would allow any application to make use of it)

I recommend putting it in the directory of the application. Don't put it in system32 unless you have to.

Some context on what "an action replay" is might help. Sounds a bit strange that it would require or depend upon a sys file (unless it's secdrv.sys or something?)

Action Replay is a little cartridge you plug into your DS to use cheats and whatnot in games. Kinda like GameShark, except horrendous.

I'll try putting it in the application folder. This came with no documentation (and the CD shipped with no drivers on it), so I have to do everything here manually.

Plug in the cartridge, then point the New Devices Found dialog to the folder your sys files are in.
