We have a havoke engine. We are wanting to make cutscenes like those of hells highway. With talking, in one of our scenes a guy is smoking and theres a fight, and i wanted to know if there was one where i imported a model that i made in milkshape. Is there some cutscene maker to do this. (for the havok engine)

Could you clarify? As far as I know, Havok is a set of libraries for a game, as well as a set of plugins for 3ds Max.

I'm going to assume you haven't integrated Havok into FPSC, as that would be impossible, on account of the completely different languages.

So use 3ds Max or similar basically.

Are you asking about pre-rendered cutscenes or in-game?

Forgive me if I'm wrong , but isn't Havok just a physics engine along with some other features. I don't think havok can run on it's own, it has to be integrated into something else

Please don't take this the wrong way but you are entirely in the wrong place. You need to find a Havok forum to ask these questions in. This is a TGC forum and in particular the FPSC section of the forum. This section has soley to do with the program called 'First Person Shooter Creator' wich is a product of programmng in The Dark Basic language. Here is a good place to start-

Hope that helps.

Don't just say No it can't be done. Think outside the box.

Wheatech,
D13 is correct, using Havok and/or asking about questions related to it can be sourced at other locations more involved with the product.
Here's the info you need anyway, using the free SDK I'm guessing. not content tools as mentioned in the link. I suggest to read every post in the thread link. http://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/havok/topic/61063/

Your answer is quoted below. Good luck with everything.

This is the link to the software, but it should be noted that when you go to get havok, make sure to get the sdk and not the "content tools", that was a mistake that I made the first time I tried to run Havok.

Also you will want a version of C++ to go with it, which can be found here:

http://www.microsoft.com/express/vc/

For programming in havok, you will probably want to use C++.

I'm not quite sure of the setup of Havok with c++ for the 2008 express edition, but I'm relatively sure that you will have to move the libraries around, which I can help you with if you need it.

Be sure to check out the demos to see how to use havok. Good luck!

Is Havok worth using?

There are 2 ways to develop for the N64:
1. Develop C code with PsyQ SDK and illegal Nintendo libs
2. Develop C code with legal kits, such as the Ground Zero devkit (g0dev.zip)
