Well maybe those new weapons I sent you will help you. Here's a screenie. I hope you enjoy them. I edited a howitzer fire to get the fire sound for your blunder buss and with surround sound it shook the house. I also fixed the tommy to be more visible. Enjoy!

Woah, just checked this thread and I'm blown away by the new weapons! You've both done a fantastic job on them.

Sorry I've not been able to help much: university is ludicrously busy (I should really be writing an essay about truth and falsehood in medieval morality plays) so I've not had a chance to do much at all beyond work.

Butt monkey: thanks man

kiwi: don't you worry about it my friend the only thing i really need you for is the CONSUL voice acting and I wont be needing that for months but if you cant do that I'm sure I could try making them myself or I could ask the forum truth be told its just nice to hear from you it had been so long I was afraid you had been hit by a car or something.

I should be able to have those voices done by the time you need them; I really need to just sit down and do them in the course of a day or something. The problem is that uni is very intense: I've not been hit by a car, I've simply been swallowed up by higher education! And although there are vacations (one of which is about to start, in fact) there are so many things I wanted to do during the term which I didn't have time for and which I'll have to do at home instead (like reading for pleasure or writing a play), as well as other things like preparatory reading which needs to be done for next term, so I guess the next 3 years of my life is going to be thoroughly busy all the way through! But I should be able to do the voices in the Christmas break, so they're ready to use by the time the game's finished.

I thought is was good, but I didn't like the fact that the steam sound was constant and the electric floor was not hurting me. To help you with your project I have sent you one thing and I will sent you more things to help out. I have an idea for your electric floor thing. I just need to finish the script for it. Also I must say I walked through one of the doors and I heard that blunderbuss and I was dead and I sat here and giggled about how it was the only thing that made my surround sound rumble. LOL I thought the game play was good and the weapon switching seems to have a glitch. When I tried to use the blunderbuss it took a min or so to show on screen. I don't know why, but that seemed to me to be the only real problem. But I did like it.

Yup, it's just going to be remade in PBMod from the ground up with much less framerate probs than before. The previous version was almost unplayable when you got into it. Thanks for the intrest. BTW has work started on that steam armor yet? If not I could give it a go if you would like.

Small fish I got your email and I will get to it later this week, I must ask May I change the tracks so that I can make the actually look like they are moving? And some little stuff to make it look like a piece of steampunk hardware. Let me know.

Glad you like. I kept your design and just added a few things and removed others. I guess I was watching to much tv the last couple of days. What I did was I made the weapon base arms, based on superman the animated series, Lexo-skel suit 5000, with the benefit of the terminator salvation t600 minigun ammo track. Then I added from just looking add the lego's on my shelve the ball joints for the shoulders. Then I saw that you had the eye from hal and had to use that for the main eye. Then I thought of wall-e and had to use that for the tracks. Then for the animation it should move like wall-e and the t-1 terminator from terminator 3. This will also have two different modes. One will fire a dual barrel minigun based off of one of the new military weapons and the other mode will fire a rocket just like the on from the Lexo-skel suit 5000. Also the tracks will be animated if it kills me. I found a tutorial on it and I have been dying to try it. That would be why I asked to use your model to do it. Plus I do think it has been done in fpsc yet. I could be wrong, but I just haven't seen it. I hope to get theis to you this weekend, but it might take alittle longer, just depends on how long it takes me to animate the last of CP's models and a few other stuff the seems to get in the way, you know life outside of this. LOL I hope you will like the outcome.

Small fish I have finished with the animations for your robot. I made two of them, one with a gatgun and the other with rockets. I did a quick test using the roving guard script and they worked quite well in large groups and the tracks do animate, but it is hard to see unless you are right up on them or they are going away from you. I hope you enjoy!

I did a test this morning on this and I noticed that the model explodes when full shaders are on, but I cannot get anyone to anwser why or how to fix it. Sorry, I tried to fix it, but it seems to be effected by ver 116. That may not be your case, but it is for me. If anyone is having this same problem let me or small fish know how to fix this. Thanks.
