Hey, I'm just curious. I play Tyranids. My dad plays Chaos Space Marines, and is starting a Chaos Daemon army. My brother plays Orks.

I play it!
Since I have gotten frustrated with the campaign what I do now is mainly the skirmish mode. I usually play as either the space marines, cause they look cool, or the Orks, because the building names are awesome (and cute), such as "Da Boyz Hut".

I love Taylor Swift. She's awesome.

I love it, though I really like it for the painting aspect of it but the game is fun. The Lore is also really intresting. I have a pretty good Space Marine army and a good size squad of Orks I am working on painting. I am cutting back though because it is getting too expensive.

I used to collect the Tau and Chaos, then they got lost and I haven't tended to buy one since. However, after playing DoW for a while I then got back into Warhammer 40,000 and hope to buy more (that is, if I can stop buying parts for my PC lol ).

I used to play imperial guard, but someone nicked all my men and I gave up after that.

Used to have a pretty big load of Tyranids, but after painting them all, I got kinda bored. The actual game moves too slowly for me...

However DoW is awesome...

If I was ever given the opportunity to remove all the bad from the world, I wouldn't, because for there to be heroism, compassion and all that is good, there must also be all that is bad.

I'm not talking about DoW, I'm talking about the table top game

Yeah nicked=stole.

My friend next door uses chaos marines. I ocassionally do design sketchs for him. He likes to keep them for reference so i let him have them. He asked recently so ill post some sketchs when i get round to it.

How did someone steal your 'Guard??? They couldn't defend themselves with their flashlights?

I ditched my spacemarines once, then I went for Imperial Guard, I got them all neatly put into one bag.

If EBay failed, that's where my mum was putting mine...

I just play the DOW games - while the world of W40K is interesting, I don't want to waste a bunch of money collecting them. My friend has been trying to get me into them, but I refuse. You can get like, 200 Mage Knights for $35 nowadays. Those serve all my minis needs.

I played many, many years ago. I used to have a Blood Angel Space Marine army. I used to work in Games Workshop, and it was such a cushy job. I got heaps of free stuff and made some great friends through the hobby.

I once had one of my models printed in White Dwarf because I had painted it so well.

But my friends and I mostly played Blood Bowl, Man 'O War and Necromunda.

Woah, is it an old issue, and did it win a Golden Demon award?

Really? That's with the gangs right?

Yeah it's an issue from about 10 years ago. I didn't win any award for it.

Quote: "Really? That's with the gangs right?"

Yeah the one with the gangs. As we had all the resources that Games Workshop give to the stores, we had some fantastic terrain to play the game on. It's an incredibly tactical game when you have really good terrain. We would lock up the shop and play late into the night.
