Well when ever I download files the little box comes up saying save or open and I never just open them I always save them to my hard drive. Can I make so as soon as I click on a link it just starts downloading or when a download box prompt comes up it just skips it and auto saves?

Tools >> Options >> Main tab >> check 'save files to' and choose the location.

Well nah I have it to set always to save in one folder, the problem is that I just want a file to save to the folder (start downloading) as soon as I click on the link, I want to skip this screen:

Why would you would you want that? That's potentially a security issue if you enable it. Clicking a button isn't that hard, surely?

Well the security part is I have an add-on bar at the bottom that tells me the if something is downloading it's in plain site and I would notice if something I didn't want to downloaded started and sometimes I am typing and want to just click something and switch real fast. It's nothing big just for me I would like to better and was wondering if such a thing existed.

But if it's only small like 1kb, you wont have time to cancel it, then BOOM a virus. Anyway theres nothing hard about pressing save.

Im not sure if there's any way to do what you want. But someone else might know a way.
