Geek Culture / My computer keeps freezing, someone help!

Hi, I'm quite new to the Geek Culture Board but I've got a problem with my computer. It is windows Vista SP2 and for some reason, It keeps freezing. I use norton 360 internet security which for some reason it (apparently) causes problems on your computer. Could norton be the problem?
PS I use Internet Explorer 8 but the problem was also happening when I had IE7.
Someone help me!

Three things:

Dump Norton, get Antivirus instead

Dump IE, get Firefox or Opera

How much RAM have you?

Yes, RAM could be a problem also. Check your RAM and see if you have more than enough to run your PC's resources.
