DLL Talk / can DARKBASIC PRO use BASS with the FLAGS ?

I am trying to use BASS with the FLAGS to get a DECODED STREAM.

so I can get the data and position without playing the STREAM.


Please help.....

Hi IAN, maybe you can help me with this.
when I use the FLAG "BASS_STREAM_DECODE" witch equals 0x200000
I get nothing. I know a streamed file can not play a decoded stream.

I am passing the stream to the "BASS_FX_TempoSet" still nothing

Please check the attached file and let me know what I am doing wrong.

the attached file only contains the dbpro file you need to put the dba in too because the dba contains the code and the dbpro contains the properties of the exe and things like that .

as far as flags are concerned can`t you just use #constant BASS_STREAM_DECODE 0x200000 at the top of your code and just use call dll 1,"whatever",BASS_STREAM_DECODE similar to this for the command , anyways i have just downloaded bass last night so if you post your code i will take a look this evening .

Hi chunks
I have attached the code I am having problem with, I can't seem to get it to recognize the FLAG code. I did what you suggested.

I tried everything. Please help.

there is still notthing in your archive to do with bass , so i can`t suss what is going on here .

If you do a search for bass i`m sure ive seen some code on here which deals with bass which may help you .
