I just watched a video on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BeLZCy-_m3s It says that they want to create a new microblogging better than twitter. After watching and reading comments it felt like joke. But, then in Related Videos i found this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AF9DJf9a-aA Saying that Flutter beta is now public... Maybe we should check it out. It seems funny.

However, Can i have your twitter id? so, i can follow you and make you my friend?

You'd think Twitter was this startlingly original idea

140 characters is too much, too much vanity, arrogance, and stupidity. It's like people think they have to condense their personality into that little white space. The most annoying thing about it though is that normal people who should know better have put it where it is, and will drop it for the next thing as soon as it's available. The services in place don't get a chance to improve before people are onto the next thing, like so many sheep.

Maybe I can get some people to together, start a revolution, we'll ignore the next blog site, iPhone, Halo game, movie format and Nintendo handheld. Now how can I spread the word to all those important people who will probably never meet me in person... Thank god for Twittcher.

What's Twitter? Sounds like a corny Disney line...

Honestly, I used to use 'socializing' sites in college, but after that it was just such a hassle to maintain and update. I don't get how they are so popular, I've actually heard that most of the people who use Twitter actually find it annoying...so wth?

...or maybe I'm just slipping out of the times.

1) If you go to SlateV (the original source/host of the video) and find this vid, it explicitly states it's a mockumentary in the description.

2) Just because some moron has made a site with the same name (and made a 'preview video' of the site which clearly isn't by the same author as the first video) doesn't make it real you "silly idiot" (IHey look, http://spinaltap.com - does that mean the film was actually real? )

3) You have to be pretty damn stupid/gullible to think any of that video is real!
