Hi guys,

Here we go.. a totally over the top Amiga demo inspired 3D Flash game. This is actually a conversion of a game I made in DarkBASIC back in 2000. I was starting out playing with the Away3D library and figured a good first test would be to convert this game.

It's 3 hours work ( can you tell? ), and I make no apologies for the bombastic music and OTT eye candy.

DarkCubes

(Yes, Away3D has issues with Phong Materials and Spot Lights.. ah well, nothings perfect aye!)

Cheers,

Rich

Very nice!

Like the title screen, and the music bars are a nice touch.

All in all for three hours of work, its pretty cool! (Although I'm left with just the middle box up..... Curse you DarkCubes, I could be here forever!)

(On a side note, in the logo image, there is a little white left over within the "O" of Storm.)

Cheers,
BiggAdd

BiggAdd - I left the shine there on purpose, but I can see how it looks like a lazy cut-out job now

Kevin - Yeah, it was one of my DarkForge Snippets which Yann pimped to hell and back. This version is considerably better, both visually and to play (you had to use the bloody numpad to raise/lower the cubes in the old one!). Am curious now to see what else I can convert.

Was looking some of the Away3D stuff, kind of sparks a bit interest in it.
