I made a calculator in Visual Basic 2008 Express. It is free and is 100% virus free!

Click the download button to get it. (It is ONLY 703 KB)

So why did you post this? If you'd have said 'look I made a calculator' we'd have been like 'Oh that's pretty cool' but instead you were like 'hey its free come and get it ain't this good' so were now all 'this is useless'

Since freebies are freebies,

I say well done.

Though windows does have a built in calculator, this is a nice little progress report on how much you'v learned. Wording is everything in this forum. The kindest heartfelt post could be turned into a cess of deciet by a little typo or mistake.

'Sarcasm' is another hard one to guess unless people decide to format properly...

Nice work, maybe work on the UI a little? Right now it got a pretty weird layout. Why have a setup for the app? A single .exe should to the trick, no?

Would have been a more worthy competitor to Win. Calc. if it had been an inline evaluator. That was one of the first projects I made with a .net language actually

For practice/challenge. Just because there's already tons of 'em, doesn't mean he's not allowed to make one. And if he wants to give it away, let him. someone might find it very useful.

Nice way of practice, but kind of useless to post here. I mean, there are tons of them on the net and one integrated with Windows.

I haven't downloaded it but you deserve a smiley face anyway
Does it have a rotate button, so you can write BOOBIES upside down?
My number is 5,170 turn it upside down and you'll see why pretty cool that the comma becomes the apostrophe too!

Yeah right TheComet. You are like a little kid who is so scared to do anything. Just because you install something, doesn't mean there will be viruses. If you want, use a Mac! Apple claims you won't get any viruses! Next time, shut the [/mod edit] up.

Nice work. Calculators are an easy start, once you get into databasing and algorithmic security things get a bit...rougher. Work on getting the size down a bit. You can do this by removing comments (if you have a lot) and compressing some things into variables.

@The Fps Creator rocks! & Indiana Jones - I've noticed you two talk the same, and put in stupid [/mod edit] tags in substitution of swearing. Your IP addresses are the same, and we do not allow dupe accounts on here. I've perma-banned Indiana Jones, and am banning you for a month here because of your shoddy record (4 previous slaps for bad tempers and locked threads). Have some fresh air!
