Hey guys/girls can someone help me?
i seem to have a problem with conecting to internett with some aplications(it works with IE6,SKYPE,WindowsLive)it wont connect for some reason. i was wondring if anyone had any idea what this problem i caused by? btw i am connected to a router with multiple internett users connected via lan. dont now if it matters.
i am only trying to connect to steam to play some god dam CS:SOURCE.. so frustrating.

sorry, i dont understand your post, are you saying that ie, skype and windows live do or dont work?

A lot of games struggle with routers and quite often if the host doesn't forward the right ports nobody can connect. You shouldn't need to forward any ports to join, though.

What i am trying to say is that the only programs that will connect to the internett is skype IE6 and messenger. other programs and games wont connect AT all the funny thing is that this computer is using a wire conection to the router and wont connect to steam, but the laptop using wireless conection to the internett connects with no problem!
