I know this may come off as mean....but I really hate it...it makes me want to throw up that you'd even SAY you have skills. You have ALOT to learn about photoshop. There is more to it than just layer styles and filters *which I can point out EXACTLY what you've done in all of them*. Just follow more tutorials and ask questions.

Looks good but one thing - never make your menu before the game

ps - the menu looks a bit too "ordinary" - try and make it a bit more subdued and stylish, maybe using all different shades of a colour with one main alien picture in the middle? Less is more.

Theres no place like 127.0.0.1

There's not supposed to be an apostrophe in "aliens".

Apostrophes are used only for abbreviations and possession. Not plurals.

I hate that Photoshop Lens Flare. Everyone who first learns Photoshop thinks it's the most bitchin' thing ever. It's cheesy, I hate it. Just a personal thing.

Add some more stuff to the background. Make it nice and interesting. A blur with some noise, it;s all about texture.

...and if you _must_ use the lens flare, at least use one of the other two options available! (not always the default. )

plus your model edges are very jagged, not good. Try re-rendering and copying it properly back to PS. practise makes perfect.

Jmansr i think the same, some effect of photoshop are for beginners, like lens flare, 3d effect and shadows.
professionals use effects by itself and some filters you never think to use.

A couple of layers with drop shadow and outer glow effect. and the oh so overused lensflare. At least change the color on the outer glow.

Some cool tutorial sites:

That should be Aliens Don't Like Water. Common mistake. VERY common mistake. But still not proper. Or good. Or sensible. Or even a sane piece of regional dialect, as it has nothing to do with pronunciation.
