You might want to check out shuttle, they make really small cases. I don't know if they build fully working computers that you can just buy though.

If you want a nice graphics card, you're going to have to buy a newer, more up-to-par system. As stated numerous times before, laptop graphics chips aren't easily upgradeable, and usually can't be upgraded at all. Trust us.

Well, for a desktop PC, the price can range greatly. It all depends on what power you want/need and your budget. Check your funds, figure out your budget, and start shopping around for a card (or new PC altogether) with the power you want/need that's within your budget and you'll be a lot happier.

Just because you bought your system last year doesn't mean it's any good. You could start up a factory today and build Yugos... if you had some sick desire to.

Athlon64 2.7gHz->OC 3.9gHz, 31C, MSi 9500GT->OC 1gHz core/2gHz memory, 48C, 4Gb DDR2 667, 500Gb Seagate + 80Gb Maxtor + 40Gb Maxtor = 620Gb, XP Home
Air cooled, total cost £160

Sorry NeX, thought you were talking to me, not Travis.

Chance that my laptop has an interchangeable GPU i guess its the same for you. According to them
Quote: "you should forget about upgrading the graphics card for any laptop. "
so i guess they will say the same to you.
changing subject...
Hey what is wrong with my GPU it can barrely run 2D but it can run TES 4 oblivion on ultra high quality (with an exception of a low resolution) with a perfectly playable framerate! why can it do that when my desktop that has a 10 times better GPU cannot?

Of course the Geek Squad will tell you that the GPU's interchangeable; they want money! They charge like $80 an hour or something for service calls, which is just INSANE.

However, I will grant you the benefit of a doubt and say that yes, your GPU is interchangeable. However, if/when it doesn't work, please do not come crying to us that you blew a ton of money and now "hate the Geek Squad" or something.

And now have a good evening!

Rly?! OMG no wai!!1!

Really Travis, people in this topic earlier said the same exact thing.

And if you had called them "the other day" and they said that, why did you post last night about changing your GPU? No matter.

So next time, are you going to listen to us because we actually know what we're talking about?

Personally, I never considered any laptops suitable for gaming.

They can be decent, as long as you don't run Crysis on high or something.

Really the only gaming I do on my laptop are NES games with the use of nestopia, so I'm pretty alright with mah graphickz chipz.

There's Google for a reason. Let me google that for you...

Edit: Sounds like a decent chip to me. But look for yourself, you may find something better.
