It's the one year anniversary for 2D boy (The creator of World of Goo) And there celebrating by selling world of goo for as much or as little as you want! http://2dboy.com/games.php

So you can buy it for 1 penny of for 1 million dollars!!

Pretty good deal, I would do it but I had bought it a week ago Anyway, I thought some people here might be interested

Had to get this the day it came out on the Wii, definitely worth a play, and it can be completed so there is a sense of accomplishment.

2D physics done damn well

As much as I want it for a cent, I don't think I have the morals to justify it. The whole "get it for as much as you think it is worth" thing threw me off. I just can't rip off a fellow indie like that - even if it is legal. D:

Besides, I didn't really want the game that much anyway.

Never heard of "World of Goo" until now, though it looks mildly entertaining (I looked it up in the middle of writing this post). But I've promised myself that I'm not going to spend a cent on anything that isn't absolutely necessary until after I get my new computer in January.

Why would I but it? In a childish manner (we all have some remnant of the sense of humor we had during childhood), that is a funny typo.

I'm working on Swordfight again! Come tell me what you think!

Ha, had a look at it in Game yesterday.. It sounded interesting. Now I see this offer.. I feel herded towards it.

Edit: Bought it for $0.05: yeah I'm a cheapskate.

I pre-ordered it originally for about $15 then picked it up on Steam for an indie package deal a while ago. It is a great game, even though I suck at it

Ahh, I remember this game. It was so cool. I was so dissapointed when I beat it though.

Hi, it’s Robert with Stealthmod! You’ll be saying Stealth every time you use this mod! It’s like CoD! It’s like L4D! It’s like BioShock. A regular mod doesn’t work good – this works good and great.

I just got this game (thank you Thraxas, I know it was an expensive penny ) and I'm absolutely dreadful at it but it is so much fun. I'm addicted to it. If only I wasn't so terrible at it lol.

Signature's are stupid.

I'm actually kind of glad I didn't pay full price for it. Don't get me wrong - it's in no way bad. But there are some points where the control is just terrible and incredibly frustrating (where the selection of goo fails completely or selects a completely random different goo ball from what you wanted. I normally fail on a time critical part purely because the selection messes up, or it interprets a sudden mouse move as 'throwing' the goo ball, so I lose one :/ ).

I've only had minor control issues, but that's when trying to select, for example, a green ball surrounded by a sea of black balls, but there's no good way to fix this, as the computer can't automatically know which ball I want. I'm greatly enjoying it

The only issue I have is the difficulty in selecting a goo that isn't attached, instead I end up breaking my structure. Would be nice if there was a shortcut key to grab the nearest free goo.

I have the same problem, even after adding to exceptions on firewall and such.

It is a great game, with a unique idea, but I played it and found it way too easy (Completed the entire thing in one go with only a few retries).

I also could not get it to connect in WoG Corp, but that may be because the servers are down or something. (Is it currently working for anyone else?)

Insanity Complex: according to guys on the WoG forums, the server is having issues due to so many people downloading the game for cheap. supposedly this problem should subside in a few days. don't know if this is true or not....
