The Project Of Doom - 6140

Story :
In 1983 , The superman project started by the 2 partners Mr. Christopher Simon and Dr. Josh Morgan , The goal of the project was to serve the national army by creating the super soldier , But after 20 years of hard-working , no results has been achived , so the financer of the project decides to stop waisting his money on useless project , The project has been closed and everyone forgot about it , except one person : Mr. Simon ....
He was very angry , humilated after his dream's gone , so he decided to continue on the project secretly , but after changing it goal into one thing ... Destroying the mankind ....
One day , Dr. Morgan discovered Simon's evil plans , and he decides to stop it , But Simon traps him , And force him to face the most horrible creatuers in the world : his mutated men ....

At the bottom here it says Attachment: Press "Browse" and you can upload a ".jpg" pic or you can go to a website like imageshack or photobucket to load your pics in post. If you use photobucket use img link and paste it in your post. The link should look like this [img]yourpichere[/img] in order to have your pic show up in post, but you better hurry and get a pic in here or it will be locked again. MAKE SURE IT IS IN JPG.


Mods give him alittle more time to post a pic with new found knowledge, say maybe a day. Thanks

I can't do games or anything right now, due to my computer being broken, so I will do a little favor to a community and upload these pictures here for you. I must say, that they look a little bland, but I like how you have changed the huds. But How did you make that health bar hud. And I don't even know how to make a hud appear in the screen... How do you do that?

I got question, if you could answer:
How do you make a hud appear on the screen?

Well, the screens look a litlle bland, maby put some entities there, and use lighting to get shadows. You have some lighting, but make lightsources and more of it and lower the ambience. and don't make lights too big. And put some static entites in there. Use only dynamic entities, when necessary.

But looks good for a first one!

It's not so compilcated , Just take a look at weapon.fpi script , 1st and 2nd lines to know how does a HUD appears , I just copy the 1st line everytime and change the path of the HUD , Then setup your commands so when your conditions comes true the HUD appears .
I make the HUD itself using MS Powerpoint 2007 , Then save the text as a picture and use DirectX Texture tool to size it .

I can't get CheeseCake's character pack to work! Every time I try to use a character, an error message comes up and the program shuts down. I did move the scriptbank and texturebank folders, too! What do I do?! Plese help quickly! I'm planning to make a game for the FPSC Halloween contest!

Do you know that the rolfy spiders does not work for me , and so the alien crawler , dragon , etc. But i don't know why , maybe it depends on your PC .
What do you think about the game ?

Gee, sucks to hear that! I wish it did work!

So, this is your first game? WOW! GREAT JOB!

Another question, you're using mods right? Where do you place the scripts incorporated with the mod? I'm not talking about the easy types for entities and markers but the complex stuff.

Glad to hear this , I was very dump and took the screenies from a bland places , But there're other screens coming .

Not sure what do you mean , but if you mean heallth bar I place it in a trigger zone outside the level grounds , BTW I'm using ply's mod , any of the scripts like health bar or leveling system , etc. are placed in trigger zones .
