I programed an application that uses and animates exported objects from cs (GIGN-mdl and a bsp map-fy_snow both converted to X. Model contains only animation for running and idle, collision detection not implemented. The low fps from the video is due to the screen recorder.

how did you convert the models - epecially the BSP ?

I had tryed this sort of thing a while back and gave up. Had thought of making a turn based strategy game with CS theme.

there are ways. I remember a long time ago, I wrote a software to load hl2 characters into dbc. It worked, too. I wish I still had it...
