This was probably the highlight of my day.

No-one was actually injured, but I felt that emoticon deserved it's placement.

Its a good day to do what has to be done by me and help my brother to defeat the enemies

That's another leaky, rusting Rover piece of junk off the road.

Did I mention I hate Rovers?

Driving down the road at average speed, went to brake but the slippy floor wouldn't allow it at the current speed. There just happened to be a bus going round the roundabout at the time where the brakes failed, and we slid in to it. A mere scratch on the bus, obviously.

Exact same thing happened in our Rover Metro, after of course the engine replacement due to a design fault destroying the head gasket and then the roof partially caving in and flooding the car.

I see why you don't like Rovers.

I hit a uhaul at 60mph and bent my engine in half..... the uhaul, despite being nearly tipped over, didn't have any damage. FML

Sorry. Glad you guys are ok! But, that is either user error, or you should be suing the garage that passed that cars MOT!

It has nothing to do with the car. He just didn't brake in time, and at the speed + sudden brake = slide. Naturally, we didn't swerve, that would land us in deeper crap.

Although, the entire right side was smashed, as you can see. We could sue Rover for airbag failure, but I can't see it being necessary.

Sounds like he was going too fast to me, or not paying attention. If you hit something on the entrance to a roundabout, you're either going too fast, or you're not paying attention. To be honest though, when I was 18, I had a few near misses too. I'm pretty sure at that age, a lot of people either learn the easy way (i.e. lucky and get away with a near miss!), or learn the hard way, and I guess he's had to learn the hard way.

Yeah, the radio is a killer! Playing with my radio meant I almost went into the back of someone on the motorway, and also almost ran someone over on a zebra crossing. The latter finally made me learn! Again, I learnt the easy way both times! The hard way would've been running someone over and going to prison for a couple of years!
