Ok, I have windows vista, and the auto updater for it downloaded and installed updates.
After that, I cannot get into ANY of my folders (normal, not zipped) , when I try, I get the error 'This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator'.
And I happen to be the system administrator

2 of my GCS models to whoever helps me, as I cannot access my harddrive, or any of my folders at all.

Right click on the folders, etc, and go to Properties, then Security, you'll find a list of users with possible permissions, edit them at will...

And turn off UAC as well...

Violence isn't the answer, it's the question...
